Η Τυνησία εγκρίνει ηλιακό έργο ισχύος 500 MW

The Tunisian government has approved several solar projects with a combined capacity of 500 MW and a total investment of 1.2 billion Tanzanian dinars (407.9 million/€374.9 million).
In 2019, the projects were awarded to a consortium of Norwegian renewable energy producer Scatec ASA, France's Engie and Moroccan energy company Nareva, as well as AMEA power LLC and TBEA Xinjiang New Energy Co., Ltd. part of the country's franchise system.
Η κυβέρνηση ανέφερε στον ιστότοπό της την περασμένη εβδομάδα ότι οι νέοι σταθμοί ηλιακής ενέργειας θα βρίσκονται σε Kairouan (100 MW), Tataouin (200 MW), Tozeur (50 MW), Sidi Bouzid Province (50 MW) και Gafsa (100 MW) . Το νέο έργο θα βοηθήσει την Τυνησία να μειώσει τις εισαγωγές φυσικού αερίου κατά 6 τοις εκατό και να μειώσει το κόστος κατά 130 εκατομμύρια δηνάρια Τανζανίας.
